Is List Hiker a hike-tracking app? Do I have to use it to record my hikes?

Most people prefer to use their favorite devices and apps to record their activities, and simply sync those activities to List Hiker. That way users continue to enjoy all the features of those devices and apps in addition to List Hiker.

That said, the List Hiker app does include a built-in, full-featured activity recorder for those who prefer to record using List Hiker.
