Does List Hiker upload photos from my photo library?

No. List Hiker discovers photo albums of your activities, as well as unrecorded activities, by scanning the photos on your device. This process does not send photos to List Hiker servers.

However, when you upload a profile photo or hiking progress record, those uploads are processed and held on List Hiker servers.

We also collect aggregate information about your photo library (such as what fraction of photos have location data) to help us improve photo features for users. That is not an upload of your pictures.
